Meeting Minutes from 2/12/12

·          Twelve members participated in this months meeting.

·          Treasury report was given

·          Review of the 2011 show

·          Presentation of recent news and magazine articles pertaining to our 2011 show.

·          Improvement discussion for the 2012 show

·          Norman Henderson offered the club the use of his antique hand crank corn sheller for kids to use during the show.

·          Voting passed to extend the barrel train to a total of 6 units

·          Voting passed to reserve the inflatables and PA system for the 2012 show

·          Fundraising activities - The club has voted on purchasing a 20 gauge double barrel shotgun and a Ford pedal tractor for our raffle items this year.  Events in which the club will set up a booth was not set.

·          Discussion of extending the award categories for the 2012 show.  It is tabled to the next meeting

·          Election of 2012 officers - Troy Dunn (President), Roger Tanner (Vice President), Amy McKinney (Secretary), and Kim Dunn (Treasurer)

·          Upcoming Events: FFA Toy Show and discussion of interest towards having a plow day

·          Set the next meeting for 3/10 at the Butler County High School Ag Room.  The meeting will follow after the FFA Toy Show (3:00).
